How FastCash4iphones handles this, in plain words.
Last updated August 18, 2026- We never sell your personal information, and we never share it for advertising.
- We wipe every device on arrival. We do not open, copy or keep anything on it.
- You can ask us to delete everything we hold about you, and we will.
01Who this is about
FastCash4iphones is operated by FastCash4iphones LLC, Delaware, United States. When this page says “we”, it means that company. When it says “you”, it means anyone who gets a quote, sends us a device or uses the site.

02What we collect
To give you a price. The device you choose, the storage, the carrier lock and the answers to the condition questions. If you do not go further, that is all we have, and it is not attached to your name.
To pay you. Your name, email, postal address, phone number, and the details of the payment method you choose — a PayPal address, bank details or a mailing address for a cheque. Bank details are encrypted at rest and are visible to the small number of staff who process payments.
To ship it. Your address goes to the carrier so a label can be made. The carrier holds it under its own privacy policy.
Because the law requires it. For high-value consignments, and where state law requires it of secondhand dealers, we may record the device serial number and a form of identification.
From using the site. Standard server logs — IP address, browser, pages visited — kept for security and to find faults.
03What is on your device
We do not read it. Every device is erased to factory settings on arrival using a method that meets NIST 800-88, and a certificate is available on request.
That said, please back up and wipe the device yourself before sending it, and sign out of your accounts. Between you posting it and us opening it, the safest device is an empty one.
Photographs taken during inspection are of the hardware. Where a screen has to be shown powered on, we photograph a settings screen, not your content.
04Who else sees it
Carriers, so a label can be produced and a parcel tracked. Payment providers, so you can be paid. Our hosting and email providers, who hold data on our behalf under contract.
Law enforcement, where a device is reported lost or stolen, or where we are required by law or a valid legal request. We will tell you when a device you sent is reported stolen, unless we are prohibited from doing so.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. If that ever changes, this page changes first and you will be told.
05How long we keep it
Quotes that never became an offer: 90 days. Completed trade-ins: seven years, because tax and secondhand-dealer records require it. Payment details: until the payment clears, then removed from the live system. Server logs: 12 months.
06Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. Email privacy@fastcash4iphones.com and we will answer within 30 days.
If you are in California, the CCPA as amended gives you those rights explicitly, plus the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and not to be discriminated against for exercising any of them. As above, we do not sell or share it.
Deletion has one limit: we cannot delete records we are legally required to keep, such as the transaction record of a completed trade-in. We will delete everything else and tell you what was kept and why.
07Cookies
The site uses cookies that are necessary for it to work — keeping you signed in, remembering what is in your box, and protecting forms from abuse. These cannot be turned off without breaking the site.
We use a small amount of analytics to see which pages fail. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not let anyone else set one on our site.
08Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Payment details are encrypted at rest with a key held outside the database. Access is limited to staff who need it, and every access to a payment record is logged.
No system is perfect. If we ever suffer a breach affecting your information, we will tell you and the relevant authorities within the time the law requires.
09Children
The service is for adults. We do not knowingly buy devices from anyone under 18 or collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
10Changes
When this page changes materially, the date at the top changes and anyone with an open offer is emailed. Older versions are available on request.
